So it seems the titanfall download will be from 25gb to 40gb depending on textures you download
The huge size is now due to devs not making use of compression so much
This means that the game will install faster though as it doesn't have to extract and compile the game files before installing
Also with so many players and consoles now having blueray players or double density the discs can make use of these
It seems a lot of games are now getting much bigger, not a problem if you have a good connection, but if you have a slow one you are better off getting the disc
I dont find this a problem as with only a 50mb connection it only take 1 and a half hours to download anyway, Depending on teh resolution you want to play at, standard/High Def etc
Most games are now 10+gb and by the time you add patches and expansions you are looking at 20-30gb anyway for a decent game, so 40 aint that bad if the graphics/game mechanics are good

The way i see it is, I spent quite a few quid on upgrading my pc so it can play top end games. so i might as well make use of it and download what looks amazing for the system i have, or i could say no and play games like minecraft after upgrading lol

Give it a year or so and we will be downloading games of 50gb - 100gb especially with ultra high def just around the corner that has 4000 lines instead of 1080

Wow that is big to stay its just a MP game, but i guess thats the way things are going and we as gamers either have to move along with the times or stop pc gaming, we want bigger and better and i'll put up with that :D
